Silver wine coasters came into common use in the early 18th C. English dining table. The form in addition to adding an elegant aesthetic to the dining table, stops wine from dripping onto the table. Further, bottles could be "coasted" or slide across the dining table without marring the table finish. Under candlelight, silver coasters make for an elegant table. Kaminer's contemporary interpretation of this classic accessory is 3.75” diameter x 1” height and fits standard size white and red wine bottles.  Features a matte finish, fine bead on the rim and wood lined bottom.
