Trugs are traditional garden harvesting baskets often made of wood. Although they have reportedly been in use since the 1500s, Trugs were popularized in England in the late 1800s - displayed at the Great Exhibition of 1851. Queen Victoria purchased several as gifts for members of the Royal Family. This contemporary interpretation is made of waxed canvas and hand cut and sewn in Vermont.
